Rate periods
A Rate Period defines the time period during which a specific rate applies. Rate periods may be set up with multiple date ranges e.g. High season may include 1-30 June, 15 Aug – 30 Sep and 1-31 Dec. You can establish different rate periods for different seasons that apply to different properties e.g.
High Season SRGTI: 1 December 2019 – 31 March 2020 (High Season in the Serengeti)
Low Season LUX: 5 May 2019 – 16 June 2019 (Low season at the Luxury lodge)
Creating a Rate Period

If the popup doesn’t appear, select the ‘allow popups’ option on your browser (in chrome this will be in the top right hand side of your screen) and re-click the ‘Dates’ button.

Once saving and exiting the popup, your new rate period will appear in the list below.
Edit a rate period
If you edit the rate Date Range of a period this new date range will automatically be applied to all rates in the system connected to this rate period. For all existing bookings using rates with these rate periods, the new rate period settings will only apply if you Regenerate the reservation. Every time this rate is used for a new booking, only the new rate period settings will apply.
Delete a rate period
Rates periods that are not used by any rates will be deleted permanently. Rate periods that are used by rates applied to reservations will be made inactive so that the rate period may not be used again for any future rates.
