NOTE
Business and Fax are system generated records that are used on the reservation wizard to allocate contact information to new contact records, these cannot be edited or deleted.
Contact profile
When recording the details of an individual or an organisation in the Contacts screen, you have the option to select pre-defined Name Suffix, Title and Phone Types. The code tables described below are where you set up the values available for selection in these fields.
Title
A title is an abbreviation that describes the status of an individual, e.g. Mr, Ms, Dr.
Name Suffix
Suffixes are optional letters allocated after an individual’s name to, e.g. JNR (to indicate Junior).
Phone Type
You are able to record any number of phone numbers for either a contact. Each number must be classified with a type, e.g. Mobile, Business or Home.
The Phone Type code table is where you list the permissible phone types.
To enter phone numbers for a contact, click on the book icon next to the telephone field and in the pop-up you can select the Phone Type.
