Support for ResNova v3 Users:

For our users currently on ResNova v3, we will continue to support v3 widgets until the 31st of July 2024. However, while existing v3 widgets will remain functional, editing capabilities will be discontinued. If you require changes or wish to leverage the new features of v4, a new widget will need to be created and the embed code changed from v3’s embed code to the new v4 embed code.

Upgrade v3 widgets to v4:

• To embrace the new features of v4, you’ll need to locate your v3 widget in the ResNova back office, open the widget, and click ‘Upgrade now’.
• Important Warning: Once you select ‘Upgrade now’, the embed link code for your existing v3 widget will become invalid. This is due to a fundamental change in our back office technology stack, essential to bring you the enhancements in v4.
• When you upgrade, you’ll get a new embed link. This is your key to integrating the latest v4 widget into your website.

Upgrade Prompt and Customisation:

• After clicking ‘Upgrade now’, the system will prompt you to confirm that you have inserted the new embed code into your webpage i.e. replaced your v3 embed code with the new v4 embed code.
• When you upgrade your v3 widget to v4, most of your customised settings will be retained and carried over to the new v4 widget. However, please be aware that not all settings can be retained due to the new features and enhancements in v4. Therefore, we strongly recommend reviewing and running through the widget setup options to ensure everything is set up as per your requirements and satisfaction.
