Public credit card payments
Your customers can pay for their booking with you through our ResRequest public payment page. This page is a ResRequest web page that is designed to reflect your website and company branding and will be linked to your ResRequest login page.
To enable payments for ResRequest’s public web pages there are certain settings that must be changed.
User access
To ensure that public users have access to make payments. Navigate to Admin > Setup > User access > select the Public group and select access for ‘Payments: Deposits’.
Public payment page
Customers enter their reservation number and the contact email address (which is saved on the reservation) to access the outstanding folios of their reservation.
Outstanding Folios for the reservation are presented and payment may only be made for selected folios. Follow the payment process steps and fill in an email address to receive confirmation of payment.
After a successful payment is made, a reference number for the payment and a confirmation email will be received. It’s that easy!
Make it even easier for your customers
Email your customers a URL for this public payment screen that is pre-populated with their details!
Set up an email template with the link to the payment screen in your email templates so you can email the Reservation Summary or Invoice along with the payment link.
OR set up the URL yourself:
The URL for the public payment screens are similar to the URL of your Travel Trade login pages e.g. http://amanzi.resrequest.com/
To access the public payments screens merely add pay.php e.g. http://amanzi.resrequest.com/pay.php
To populate the page with a customers details (reservation number and email address), add ?resid=booking number&email=email address
e.g.http://amanzi.resrequest.com/pay.php?resid=RS500&[email protected]
