Having a Payment Gateway setup in ResRequest gives you added functionality such as:

1. Making internal payments
   Setup credit card payments for internal users and even Agents depending on their user access. This means that your front of house team can settle a customers bill through ResRequest during check out. The payment will be made through the payment gateway and will be reflected on the Reservation instantly.

2. The public may pay deposits
   You can request additional setup which allows customers to make payments on a public facing ResRequest page. This means that your guests can make deposits or settle their bill via credit card! Your reservations team can send a link from ResRequest to a guest / agent populating this public payment screen with their specific reservations details — all the folios of this account will be displayed and the customer can pay immediately. This payment will be processed through the payment gateway and will reflect as a payment within ResRequest on the relevant reservation. This option requires additional design by ResRequest.

3. Look and book now
   Direct booking and payments made online through your ResRequest website public pages. These public pages show your availability and can be setup to allow customers to book and make payment through the payment gateway. These pages are designed along with your ResRequest login page.
