Note
Easily navigate to the booking by clicking on the room number directly from the report.
Once the Telephone system interface is setup, you will start receiving telephone charges in your ResRequest system.
The call charges will appear as an extra charge in the table of the Extras tab on the relevant booking (which must be roomed and checked-in).
The cost will appear either on a new folio, if no folio has been created for this booking on the Property server, or it will be added to an existing folio already created in the Property environment, e.g. if other Extras, like a curio purchase, have already been added at the lodge.
Calls will be associated with a cost (this is setup in your Telephone system) which can either be allocated or unallocated. These may be monitored through the Telephone report (Reports > Property > Telephone).
Allocated call charges
Allocated charged are identified by the ‘Y’ in the Allocation column of the Telephone report and whether there is a reservation number populating the ‘Res #’ column. This means the call charge will appear on the Extras tab and folio of that booking.
Easily navigate to the booking by clicking on the room number directly from the report.
Unallocated call charges
Unallocated call charges are identified by the ‘N’ in the Allocation column of the Telephone report and there will be no reservation number populating the ‘Res #’ column.
You can manually allocate call charges to a room from the Telephone report if necessary. See our Manually allocate room charges tutorial for more information.
