Use a Telephone management system to track and charge phone calls made by guests from their rooms.
Mapping a Telephone system and ResRequest
The telephone line extensions are mapped to the room number of the guest in ResRequest by our Technical team. No Extra set up is required.
Working with a Telephone system and ResRequest
The guest must be checked into their room as the telephone billing is mapped to the room number of the guest. Although the Telephone charge is not set up as an Extra, the charge will be added to the booking as an extra charge, labelled Telephone, in the table of the Extras tab. A new folio, editable only on the Property server, will be created on the booking which you may use to invoice the guest during their stay or upon check-out. Any other extra charges recorded on the Property server will be added automatically to this folio.
Reporting
Use the Telephone report to report on allocated and unallocated telephone charges. Easily navigate to the individual reservations from the report and manually allocate unallocated charges to guests’ rooms.
