Profiles and favourites
Once all your report parameters have been set you can save them in a report profile. All reports offer ‘profiling’ capability. This enables you to save a specified set of parameter selections for future use. You can create a new profile by clicking on the ‘Save profile as’ button. To open a profile, navigate to the relevant report and click on the magnifying glass icon at the top of filter options.
Specify the following attributes for a profile.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | Profile name |
Level | This may be any of the following: 1. Global 2. Environment 3. User |
Default | If this is checked, then this profile will be automatically loaded when you initiate the report. |
Favourite Profiles
If the following optional fields are completed, the report profile will appear in the list under ‘My favourites’, shown under the ‘reports’ main menu option.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Title | This is the title that will show in the ‘My favourites’ list. |
Favourite | You need to check this box for the report to be included in your favourites. |

Note that the usage of profiles is governed by User access control settings. An access group with ‘Read’ access on a report cannot manage profiles or see un-required parameter settings. A group with ‘Update’ access is authorised to manage ‘User’ level profiles only. A group with ‘management’ access is able to manage profiles at any level.
