Although all your ResRequest documentation reflects financial information, the following documents will be used when you are communicating financial details to your customer.

ProForma document
The proforma Invoice summarises the projected cost of the booking and is generally treated as an invoice that is emailed directly from ResRequest to clients.
The proforma document notifies the client of their booking commitment and cost, with the relevant banking details and information about their upcoming trip.
This document is conveniently automatically updated when changes are made to the reservation.
The financial information shown on your proforma document is set by the invoicing unit or billing unit set up in the business structure.
You can view and work with the proforma document for each reservation by navigating to the following places in your ResRequest system:
- Reservation > Financial tab > Folios/Invoices tab > Select the drop-down menu to the right of the folio number > Select View proforma
- Reservation > Financial tab > Folios/Invoices tab > Click on the folio (it will go green when you hover your mouse over.
This document may be sent to your guest or agent as an official financial document and in most cases, payments are collected on the strength of a proforma.
Edits to the proforma are allowed to be made before the document is emailed to your agent.
Document Show/Hide options
As with most ResRequest documents, the Document Show/Hide options are available to you on the proforma document. Change the information reflected as required before sending this to your guest or agent.
Our various output options are available to open the document as a pdf file, email straight to your client from ResRequest or print.
