Introduction

1.1 VAT

• Clients always specify their rates inclusive of VAT.
• Applicable to most services.
• In some countries VAT is payable at the earlier of payment or service delivery.

1.2 Park fees / Conservation fees

• These are charges payable for entry into National Parks and are generally payable to the government department responsible for the parks.
• The fees may be named differently in different countries.
• Countries: All

1.3 Service charge

• This is a charge collected by the principal for distribution to the staff.
• If service charge is subject to VAT it cannot be handled as a tax in ResRequest.

Park fees are fees that many of our clients deal with and ResRequest caters for that need in reporting in various ways.

Park fees can be charged per stay or per night on itinerary lines and need to be reported on due to Park Levies, with a defaulted applied or manual addition.

Park fees can also be charged as an extra if the client does not want it part of the rates .

To report on extras at component level two different reports can be used.

Component report

To find the component report from the drop-down menu in ResRequest

Reports > Financials > Components

This report will provide a detailed breakdown of your component revenue for the period of your choice.

You can report on Park fees Individually or report on the overall components of the month.

These components combined make the total amount a rate consists of.
However each rate is set up in a single currency. The rate currency is what will be displayed on both

• Proforma invoice

Financial Analysis Report

The financial Analysis report can also provide you with a detailed breakdown of your park fees but is also able to give you the breakdown the other items of this system with the components or park fees;

For example
If you have park fees in some rates and other reservations include park fees in their extra’s

It can give you a detailed breakdown of the total park fees across the system.
