3rd party bookings / activity bookings
What are 3rd Party bookings ?
There are two different scenarios to take into account here.
1.ResRequest has the capability to accommodate for accommodation types or activities not owned or hosted by the lodge.
2. ResRequest has the capacity to report on Vendors that supply reservations IE NightsBridge, Expedia.
This can be setup on the Business Structure and extras.
Setup
Step 1
You would have an accommodation type called Offsite Services
Which will be added under the business structure
Admin > Setup > Business Structure
Add accommodation type – Offsite Services
Step 2
You will have to add an extra category called 3de Party accommodation.
Admin > Setup > Code Table > Financials > Extra’s Category
Remember to make this category type – Accommodation
This will allow for a more detailed extra edition.
Step 3
You will then add a Extra and set it up as follows
Admin > Setup > Code Table > Financials > Extra’s
It is vital at the setup stage to add individual extra’s for each 3de party accommodation to have the rates charged, Tax and details correct as seen above.
This option gives you the detail required to report on the 3de party accommodation.
When making a booking
> Select Offsite services as the accommodation type
> Add an extra from the Category 3d Party Category
> Add the relevant price and details
Activity Booking
When supplying an activity not owned by the lodge , follow the below easy steps to setup these extra’s and be able to report on the demand, frequency and charges of these extra’s
Setup
Adding a Category
Category type should always be Activity which will give you the correct options
When adding the extra to a booking the following option will be given
– Serviced by
– Maximum available
– Standard extra options
Reporting
We have the capability to report on both 3d party accommodation and 3d party extras
From the dropdown menu in ResRequest
– Reports > Extras > Extras
On this report you will have various option from date range to serviced by
3rd Party Sources
When a booking is made it gets a source when the booking is pushed as API
This can be reported on with the Financial Analysis Report Folio
Reports > Financial > Financial Analysis Report Folio
This report has a variety of options further explained on Learn online reporting however for the purpose of demo these are the most important factors to take into account

Also using the wildcard search field below and adding in the word > API
