This fix should fix the issue so that all future clients upgrading to 7.3 will not suffer from this issue. | 7.3.0 | RRDEV-1106 | Per stay' override produces wrong amount upon regeneration The issue occurs when a reservation has a 'Per stay' override and spans a rate period boundary and the system default is set to split per rate period. The result is that the multiple itinerary lines created (usually 2) each hold the per stay amount as the payable amount on the item if itineraries are regenerated. On a reservation created internally in RR, the initial creation reflects the correct charges. However, if folios are regenerated each item is priced at the value of the 'Per stay' override so the price is doubled. When a reservation is created via Sprout (online booking channels, Nightsbridge, Expedia etc), regeneration is evidently performed immediately upon creation, with the result that the charge will always reflect incorrectly. Since Sprout bookings always apply a 'Per stay' override, the problem will occur every time the above scenario arises, irrespective of which channel sourced the booking. | 2017-09-06 | |
