Anyone who’s spent an hour writing up the perfect list of items to discuss with their agent only to realise after their meeting that they forgot to go through the list with their agent understands the importance of automated reminders. Todo lists are great reminders of important things you need get done but unless you have a reliable way of reminding yourself to actually do them, they become a little obsolete. We understand the importance of automating reminders so in addition to being able to set reminders on reservations, we’ve extended this feature so you can add reminders to your contacts.
How to use this feature
Simply open up a contact record, add your note, email, date and reminder time, and we’ll automatically send email you when you need it.
Add Reminder is available on the Reminders tab for the selected contact record.
The note in the Reminder pop-up will be the message you receive when the reminder is emailed to you, for example: ‘Discuss next year’s STO rates’. Reminders can be set for a specific date and time and can be set to repeat daily. Once you’ve confirmed the email addresses to send the reminder to, click Add and your reminder is queued for sending.
The Reminders tab lists all reminders queued. Click Show past reminders to see what has already been sent.
A friendly reminder: for privacy reasons, you’ll only see reminders you have received or been sent.
Tooltip
To bypass finding a contact or reservation, click the Reminder icon on the toolbar. Type the reservation name, number or the contact name in the field This note is for: and select from the results displayed. Add the rest of the details using the guides above and your reminder is queued!
