Interpreting your Rates
Knowing how your Rates are constructed will play a big role in how you will go about setting up the Rates in ResRequest. You will need to spend some time interpreting your Rates and understanding their different components. Use the table of questions below to help you:

2. What other charges make up the Rates? 3. Are any of the Rate components commissionable? 4. Must any of the Rate components to be set to display separately on the invoice? 5. Do any of the Rate components have their own tax? 6. If any of the Rate components have charges attached, are the charges the same for a child as for an adult? 7. What Specials apply?
When do Specials apply and does the Special season match the Rate type seasons? Will they be set up as Rates Specials or as part of the Rate? Which Rates do the Specials apply for? | Specials | E.g. Stay 4 pay 3 outside of Peak season for Rack rates only. Honeymoon Special: Bride pays 50% of the Adult rate between 15 Jan – 15 Dec for the Rack and STO rate. |
